Admissions
Eligibility

Admission Eligibility

Candidates eligible for admission to BTAE should possess following qualifications
10 + 2 in Science stream or higher-with min 55% marks in PCM aggregate. OR Students with BSc(PCM) having minimum 55% marks in aggregate, OR Candidates with Diploma in engineering with 55% aggregate marks from a university or equivalent will be admitted in the second year. (Students with BSc or diploma holders also can be admitted in the first year). For SC/ST/OBC the admission criteria is 50% marks in PCM in 10+2 in science stream.

NOTE- No rounding off would be done to arrive at minimum marks.

Selection

Final selection would be based on merit.

Admission Procedure

Admission
  • Application Form completed in all respects with 2 sets of xerox attested certificate, mark sheet and Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- drawn in favour of Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organisation payable Pune should be submitted to any Training Institute/ AERO IGNOU
  • Student whose name appear in the merit list will submit a Demand Draft of Rs 60,000/- in favor of respective Training Institutes payable at their respective location for confirmation of admission.
  • Student will have to submit original certificates and mark lists to Training Institute along with the Demand Draft of Rs 60,000/-
  • All reserved category students have to submit their caste validation certificate.
  • Student/Parents will also be bound by terms and conditions of the institution/IGNOU/AERO imposed from time to time.
Fees Structure / Refund Policy

Registration Fee


A student has to pay Registration fee of Rs. 10000/- while applying for the course. This fee is payable only in the first year for students seeking admission to the first year on the basis of 10+2 .The Registration fee is to be paid by DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.

Refund Policy


a. Registration fee Rs.10000/- would be refunded to the student who are not granted admission as per university Rules.
b. Tuition Fee will be refunded to the extent of 90% before the start of the course. After the commencement of the course - no refund of the registration or tuition fee would be permitted .

Course fee


A student has to pay Rs. 60,000/- towards programme fee for each year. The fees of Rs.60,000/ will be paid in advance before the start of the academic year by DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.
