 Aero Lab
Ours is the only Institute that proudly possesses two-seater Aircraft - ?Pushpak?, ISKARA,
Fokker Frienships a/c and BELL helicopter (in running condition), for practical demonstration of aircraft systems
and components. Apart from this, the lab has components / systems of military and
commercial aircrafts. These give the students the actual feel and exposure of the
practical aspects of theories that they learn in classroom sessions. We also have
working mock-ups with actual aircraft control surfaces to show operation of ailerons,
elevators, rudders etc. The Institute also has two Gas Turbine (GT) engines and
one Auxiliary power unit.

 Workshop and Mechanical Lab
The Institute has evolved new laboratories for Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics and
Applied Mechanics. The Institute has further expansion plans to add equipment, such
as special purpose machines, lathes, tool-kits, milling machines, wind tunnel and
structural testing units. The In-house Workshop is equipped with the latest facilities
and equipment for metal working, such as lathe machines, shapers, drilling machines,
power-saws, welding tools, transformers, etc. Apart from that, equipment to provide
hands-on training in carpentry and fitting are available.

 Avionics Lab / Electrical Lab
Avionics Lab is well-equipped with the basic as well as state-of-the-art technology
- Radio Communication and Navigation equipments. Other significant equipments, worth
mentioning are : Radar System, Automatic Distance Finding System , VOR, Instrument
Landing System, G.S. and Marker System. The highlight of the Lab is an Electro Static
Device (ESD) Safe Work Station. Mock-ups of all the Instruments and Electrical equipments
of Aircraft systems are available.

 Electronics Lab
Electronics Labs are well equipped with all kinds of electronic equipments and components.
In the Labs, the latest models of Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes, Function Generators,
Dual Power Supply Units, Television Trainers, Digital Trainer Kits, Microprocessor
kits, Micro-controller kits, Measuring Instruments, Digital Multi-meters, etc.,
are available.

 Computer Labs
Our Computer Labs are well-designed for entry-level as well as advanced computing.
The Labs are full-fledged and equipped with latest configuration PCs, printers,
scanners and multimedia devices. The computers are configured in LAN as well high-speed
broadband for Internet access. Packages like Visual Studio 6.0, AUTO-CAD R-2000,
Visual Basic, Web-page designing software, JAVA, Turbo C/C++, VC, VC ++ are available
on Windows as well as DOS platforms.

 Library
Our Institute library is well-stocked with numerous Course Text Books, Reference
Books, Notes, Solved / Unsolved Question papers, Technical Bulletins, Magazines and Journals,
Personality Development Books, General Knowledge Books, Competitive Examination
Books, etc. Educational CDs are also available. Each student is provided with a
library card for issue of books for duration of five days, per issue. For the benefit
of students and staff, the Institute has obtained membership with the library of
the Defence Institute of Advance Technology (formerly known as IAT) and The British
Library, Pune.
